B&Q - placing an order via telephone

Hi, has anyone else had issues while placing a telephone order with B&Q, they process your order and the money is then held in pending but it doesnt create an order number so they tell you to try it again and they same happens again (It happened to me three times!!). I believe they are aware of this issue but are ignoring it. I had nearly £500 in pending and all i was told is i would get it back in 72hours, they were really unhelpful!! I really think this is wrong as they are aware this is happening with some cards/lenders and are not doing anything to fix the issue their end!! For the consumer its a nightmare having £500 stuck in pending for 3 days!!
