Utility Point direct debit

My monthly direct debit to Utility Point went through today. Is this normal? And will it show on my Utility Point statement?
I was kind of expecting the payment to go to EDF, but it's gone to same UP account as in previous months.
I'm trying to keep track of what my closing balance with UP should be to make sure that EDF get it right when the complete the switch, but the longer this goes on the harder it gets. Why are EDF taking so long?
I have a credit balance so it's in my interest that it's done right!

if you log into the online portal you will be able to see the latest DD in your transactions list within a few days of it being taken
that transactions page also shows the running balance just above the list of transactions (but NOT at the top of the page which only shows the balance at the last statement date)0 -
Thanks Inigo_Montoya.
My balance at the top of the page shows as £0! In the transactions list ("My Statements") it's about £200 credit which is about right. Should I be concerned by the £0?!0 -
Ignore the zero - the £200 running balance is what counts
save the statements page on your computer in case you cannot login later1 -
Mine has always followed the same format.What_time_is_it said:Thanks Inigo_Montoya.

When (if?) EDF get round to actually setting up new accounts for us Utility Point refugees, do credit balances "roll over" onto the new supplier to be offset again our bills with EDF? Or do we start at zero with EDF and have our previous balances dealt with separately?0

It will be transferred to your account or you can request a refund.What_time_is_it said:When (if?) I had the initial email back in mid September bit nothing sinceIt is a slow process, and while every SoLR will handle things their own way and at their own pace, take a look at this 'blog' by Octopus on how they are handling the SoLR process for Avro customers, it is probably the most detailed and useful breakdown of the process I've seen so far...

GNE to EDF transfer took around 4 to 5 monthsMrriker25 said:Has anyone heard from edf with confirmation of your account being set up? I had the initial email back in mid September bit nothing since
GNE had 360K customers, Utility Point has 220K customers
So don't expect it to be sorted out anytime soon - you will be lucky if its sorted before the new year0
