I'm self employed and have been receiving UC for a year or so due to a loss of earnings, last month was the first month that i had earnings over the threshold so i didn't receive any UC. It looks like this month i may not earn as much, do i need to create a new claim or will i be able to just declare my earnings as i have been doing? Thanks in advance.

Your claim stays open and every month you will be required to (continue to) report your earnings. How much UC you receive will be assessed on a month by month basis, depending on your earnings in that month. At some point you will be invited to attend a self employed Gateway appointment, to take in evidence to prove you are self employed (normally this would have happened at the start of your claim, but didn't because of Covid). If you are deemed to be gainfully self employed, the Minimum Income Floor (MIF) may be imposed on your claim. More information is available here:
