Armtrac private pcn appeal success

Hi all,
I just wanted to say thank you to this forum for the advice, information and guides for appealing a private PCN with Armtrac.
I parked at Rockpool cafe, godrevy, cornwall in the summer and accidentally input one letter incorrectly in the parking ticket. I didn't realise this until I got the letter to registered keeper in the post. I was so worried about appealing this, having read about how these companies can treat you but I used the template provided and added my evidence in my appeal.
Armtrac thankfully accepted my appeal and recognised that I entered one letter incorrectly and so have cancelled the charge.
Thank you again for saving me the money and giving me the tools to appeal.

They should not have tried their luck in the fiirst place and would very likely have lost in court had you fought them Have you complained to your MP? They have wasted your time, now waste theirs, read this,

Thanks, I will do so.
Cheers again1 -
Well done.
They had no reason to issue the PCN at all. Horrible greedy ex clamper company who will struggle under the new statutory framework next year.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have just returned from Cornwall and Amtrac issued me with a £100 fine because the flimsy permit they supply for the place i was staying furled in the sun and they came round at 4am and issued a ticket, even though the permit was clearly in the windscreen. They did not supply a clear case for the permit to prevent this issue happening and I was wondering if anyone has any advice about whether it would be worth appealing as the permit was there at all times? Thank you0

It is not a fine, Of course you should appeal, it is a scam. Please read the newbies and start your pen thread. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2
