Does that mean they fixed the advisories on the front lower suspension arm ball joint ?

No, not necessarily.
Advisories are not required. They are merely things the tester feels he should bring to the owner's attention. He brought it to their attention on the first test, and would be within his rights not to feel it needed mentioning again.
A quick glance under the OSF will show if the arm is bright and shiny and new, though.0 -
Was done by the same test centre so strange why he brought attention first time but not the second. Really appreciate your replyAdrianC said:No, not necessarily.

When I get the car from the show room I will attempt to look under the OSF and see if it looks new. Once I google where that is on a car haha0 -
I think the OP was saying that the car was taken for MOT by the Dealer, who fixed the faults and then re-presented for a pass.oh_really said:Were you invoiced for an arm or a ball joint?
Didn't you notice your parking brake was inoperative?2 -
I am buying the car from the dealership this evening so I don’t have an individual‘s invoice for the parts they have repaired.oh_really said:

When I test drove it the parking brake worked. That has obviously been repaired now and away from the latest MOT. It’s just the arm ball joint about worried if I have a right to ask for them to repair that before I buy the car0 -

OS - offside, NS - nearside. The side near the kerb, and the side off from the kerb. Saves confusion from referring to "left" and "right" (is that the right standing behind or in front of the car and looking at it?), or from "driver's side" then finding out it's a LHD car.

I never get the same set of advisories year on year. Different testers notice different things I suppose. That said I do get suspension bits like your advisory fixed; you'll probably notice a difference.Pensions actuary, Runner, Dog parent, Homeowner1
