Its a mind filed with the energy cap etc and I am looking for some guidance. I am with EON Next on Next Flex variable rate which is currently Electricity 18.31p per kWh and gas 3.31p per kWh, the daily standing charge is 24.39p per day and 26.60p per day respectively, It gives an average of my yearly charge for both at £1309. It is giving me the option to renew to the cheapest fixed  tariff which is 22.92p per kWh for electric and 4.71p per kWh for gas and also gives an average cost of £1806. This os fixed for 2 years. Would it be wise to switch to this or is the variable likely to cost me more? Any advice appreciated
