Recommended car insurance company

Presently insured with CO OP insurance for my car, but my renewal notice says they are now saying I am to be insured with Zenith Insurance.  I have tried to find out if they are any good, but the reviews are not good.  Could anybody recommend an Insurer - especially if they have received good service when making a claim.  Many thanks

I can recommend Admiral. Competitive price whilst not being the cheapest. They dealt with a few claims in a first class manner. Been with them 5 years.

The only company i have made a claim from was Direct Line several years ago and they were very good in dealing with it quickly.
If you want a good broker try https://www.stuartcollins.com/ they were very good helping me with a car I was importing.

LV (Liverpool Victoria) are well priced, and don't jump up the renewal price. Not had to make a claim but their CS was easy work when I changed my vehicle last. They offer discounts for Unison members.
