Switching with Active Direct Debits

To those who are aware of Post Office Savings accounts, does anybody know if monthly payments into that account would count as an active direct debit for the purposes of switching? Trying to get that switch bonus from Nationwide, and although my deposits into PO are listed as direct debits I'm still unsure if that would count.

I used them for my co-op account as DD's and it worked, so should work with nationwide0

A direct debit is a direct debit.KX022 said:To those who are aware of Post Office Savings accounts, does anybody know if monthly payments into that account would count as an active direct debit for the purposes of switching? If that's what you've got and that's what they want you to have stop worrying!1 -
Agreed - if it is listed as an DD on your current account then that's all you need. PO has worked perfectly fine for me in the past.0

To be clear: You do mean monthly payments into PO account by direct debit?KX022 said:To those who are aware of Post Office Savings accounts, does anybody know if monthly payments into that account would count as an active direct debit for the purposes of switching? Not standing order from the linked account, monthly manual transfers or by debit card - as none of these count.
Must be by DD.0 -
I got the current Nationwide switching bonus with 2 PO DD`s. Post Office Direct Debits will cease on 1st March 2022. Although you will have pocketed the NW bonus long before then.
