Investing in decent shoes...that last 6 weeks!

Again, lizzeena, take them back!
You do expect a bit more than that from Clark's. I would also agree with the poster who recommends contacting Customer Service at Head Office. Make sure that you get the name of the person that you speak to - so that you CAN quote their name when you go to the shop.0 -
Take them back. I bought myself Hush Puppies this time, Brantano had a buy 1 get 1 half price offer and I was sick of buying cheap shoes that lasted 2 minutes. Hush Puppies are the only ones that last for my shoes, the kids Clarkes ones seem fine but I've had several Clarkes pairs for me drop to bits.
Also if you wear the shoes out unevenly on a regular basis, I've had this happen for years, had no idea why then when I went to a chiropodist about a corn they pointed out I have an issue with my legs, which I was unaware of, which will cause that. I was supposed to go back and be assessed properly to possibly have inserts made etc but haven't had the time yet.One day I might be more organised...........

Yes, take them back. My daughter recently returned a pair of Clark's boots which were wearing away from the inside after only a few week's wear.
They were unable to replace like with like (which she didn't want anyway, who wants the same again when they are no good) so offered her the value off anything in the shop.
After a bit of a tussle she was given a refund. Be prepared to stand your ground if you want your money back because if the goods are not fit for the purpose they should give it to you.
