Metro Bank 'issues'

  • I have a number of company accounts with Metro, have done since 2014 when Investec asked many companies to close their current accounts.  Never had any problems that weren't resolved quickly until iOS 15, when the app constantly failed.  Before re-entering the data, one must delete the app completely, or your'll end up in a never ending loop.  The app lasts between a few hours and max 2 days, before it fails again.  Metro say they are aware of the problem but to date haven't solved it.  Very annoying, especially since my other banking apps - HSBC, Lloyds and Nationwide seem to be fine.

    There was an update to the app released yesterday which supposedly solves this very problem.

    It also adds the ability to activate credit and debit cards via the app - a gripe another poster on this thread mentioned.

    Perhaps they are reading the feedback and taking it on board?
