Caterpillar stock held by Morgan Stanley

I used to work for the Caterpillar Corporation and received share options which were vested before retirement. For Caterpillar employees this was administered by Morgan Stanley with advice/support provided from an MS office in Chicago. Information is communicated by a manual system and I continue to be mailed 6 reports annually with financial information and the phone number for the support team.

I now need to make some changes to that holding but am having difficulty contacting anyone on the Chicago number. I've tried to speak to various other MS offices around the world. Calls to the London office are transferred to 'the department which can help' but on every occasion these ring for 5 minutes then the call is dropped.

Calling the MS Global Client Service number advised I would need to change to a new on-line system but my personal data was only held by the Chicago staff. A few years ago the original Chicago Office had closed and replaced by a single member of the support team working from home. This number differs from that continuing to be supplied by MS. I've tried the home number but always the answer system was either full or I left my message but so far no-one has responded.

I would be grateful to anyone who can help me establish contact with Morgan Stanley so I can make the required changes to my account.

Is it definitely still Morgan Stanley you need to be speaking to?https://investors.caterpillar.com/resources/investor-contacts/default.aspx has their share registrar as Computershare, so if your options vested and you now have shares, they may be able to help?

Yes, it's still Morgan Stanley who I must contact. Apparently, Morgan Stanley have transferred the process which controls my stock to on-line operation and to get access to the system I have to work with the Chicago office.
