Lancastria Memorial Fund - for those who lost their lives 17/6/1940

Thank you for taking the time to read this - to even have done this, is very much appreciated. My husband's grandad, who had also served throughout WW1, was one of those killed in this WW2 tragedy, hence why I support the aims of the association.

    Thank you for posting this. My Granddad was a survivor of the sinking of the Lancastria and he often said how let down he felt because it was rarely spoken about.

    Thank you for taking the trouble to post. I'm sure your grandad did feel let down. Hopefully the memorial will go some way to paying proper tribute to those who lost their lives as well as those who survived.
