    Utter nonsense.

You still believe a fox can jump over a two meter high fence. They can't get over my six foot high chicken wire around my chicken coop.
You must have lazy foxes then :D

Around here a two meter fence is nothing for them. Nor is a 2 metre chicken wire fence - I had to add a roof to our rabbit run
(made out of 2 metre chicken wire) when I spotted a wolf inside it (thankfully the rabbits weren't out at the time)

OP, I can understand you being disappointed at losing your view but, as has been said, there's really nothing you can do about it.

When we moved into our ground floor flat, which overlooks the small communal green-space, I could stand at the picket fence and look out over the harbour. Then the house next door was built (we knew this was happening), the little picket fence came down and was replaced by a solid 6 foot fence. I was really upset, likening the space to a prison exercise yard. However, 'what can't be cured must be endured' so I just had to get used to it. Such is life!
    It's not difficult!

I think that foxes will jump tall and rigid fences easily but are much more wary of wobbly uneven fencing as they rely on reaching and jumping off the top.  I had electric fencing about a metre high around my chickens run which deterred foxes.
