Teenagers needing EU Covid pass?

We are travelling to Italy and children 12+ there need a 'Green pass'. As far as I can see, the UK won't provide anything for under 16s that will satisfy the EU system. Does anyone know a way to get a teenager the compulsory QR code?? otherwise they can't eat indoors, go in museums.......!

We are also faced with the same problem.
Does anybody have a solution? Both of our children have received the vaccination in school but we can't prove it........

In Holland anyone who cant get a jab has to have daily Covid testing to go into tourist attractions etc....does a similar thing not exist in Italy?

I think you are going to struggle to get anything official for an under 16. It doesn’t seem to exist. 

I have the same issue going to New York in Dec. You can get in the country as an under 16 but it’s the proof needed to do things like indoor dining and indoor tourist activities that need vaccine proof. 

About the best I have seen from others is a print out from your GP with the vaccine details but it certainly isn’t one of the approved and official means of showing vaccination proof and would be a risk.

In Italy you can obtain a green pass, valid for 48 hours by testing negative to a rapid COVID-19 test readily available from local pharmacies and test centers. The test provider will print your test results and will email you a unique code. You will then need to access the Government website (in Italian) and enter your details. Select the option ‘Utente senza tessera sanitaria’ (‘User without a health card’). You will be prompted to enter the type and number of the ID you showed when you got your test, as well as the code on your test certificate. Click ‘Ricupera certificazione’ (‘Get certificate’) to download your digital test result.

In addition they will need a green pass for the return flight .
