Finishing contract with Estate Agent & contact afterwards

We had our property on the market with a local estate agent for 20 weeks, only 1 viewing and no feedback.
We decided to cancel with them, confirmed everything in writing and have now gone with another agent.
Now our property is back on the market, we've received a snarky comment via text from the previous estate agent (we've not replied).
Can an estate agent keep our contact details if we've not actually had a transaction with them?

Don't worry about it - they showed their capabilities with their lack of success and are only confirming the lack of professionalism now.
Your contract is over, they have no come back.3
