Shipping UK laptop to Spain

Hi MoneySavers   I am buying a UK laptop for my niece who lives over in Spain, Mallorca to be precise.  Shipping dilemma - how easy is it to ship a brand new in box laptop to Mallorca, does anyone know?  And what import cost will they have to pay?  I can't find any retailer who is prepared to ship to Mallorca.

Alternatively if I buy my niece a laptop in Spain will it have Spanish OS installed?  I know you can change the country setting to UK but I understand the "guts" of the laptop will still be Spanish.  Will Windows 10 be in Spanish etc?

There's no such thing as "Spanish OS", it'll just be Windows with the Spanish language on it (easy to change).  Also it'll be a Spanish keyboard, which is not too dissimilar to a US keyboard:

Of course nothing to stop plugging a USB UK keyboard in.

amazon.es would be a good option specifically. (yes they sell uk laptops if that is what is needed).

Since "for reasons" I have both a german win 10 and german samsung andoird phone, I can tell you the base install does differ and there can always be somehtuing in the default language and a few oddities whatever language you select. Not a lot but it might be disconcerting to some.

I'm not sure whether this information is needed so if it superfluous, I apologise.

I know someone who replaced a laptop mobo. The new mobo was American and they had to switch the laptop to use a US keyboard.

In a similar vein, a company I know accidentally bought a number of US spec laptops. The keyboard and the palm rest had to be swapped over to give them UK keyboards.

is it not possible to take it out of the box then it is second hand, send it by parcel company and send all documentation by a second post like a letter
