Should I buy a flat in London without an EWS1 form/certificate?

  • The fact the flat has been reduced to that extent and been on the market for such a long time means that other buyers have been put off. There's probably no way of finding out whether other prospective buyers have been in your situation and pulled out, but I reckon it must have happened over the past 15 months.

You yourself acknowledge the sellers "probably want nothing to do with it anymore" says enough surely? Do you want to shoulder that responsibility? It can lead to a lot of anxiety and sleepless nights.

Many people who bought these flats must be really regretting it now? How many were encouraged to dive in by reading internet forums?
