Alpha Boiler (vs more widely known brands such as Worcester / Vaillant)

Hi,
For years I have commonly heard people in passing talk about either Worcester or Vaillant boilers if you are replacing your boiler. Having recently looked at this, the option of an Alpha boiler has come up and is recommended by an installer. It would come with a 7 year warranty.
Looking at the Alpha website, it states it operates in 30 countries and is arguably Europe’s leading heating appliance manufacturer having produced over 7 million boilers, so by all accounts its a big player.
Depending on what you read some people will say the quality of one make of boiler is better than another based on personal experience, equally I have read that any boiler is only as good as the person installing it.
Given it has the peace of mind of a 7 year warranty and is recommended by the installer, is there any real reason not to go for it? Asking as its always easier to go with a brand you have previously heard of rather than one you hadn't heard of previously.
Thanks!

Alpha, there a reasonable gas boiler. So is worcester & vaillant.
Its easy to nit pick New gas boilers, some installers say their choice is the best (not forgetting installers can get rewards)
Warranty has become a selling pointThere are always exclusions when a claim needs to be made.
Its possible to purchase a relatively cheap gas boiler that will last 10 years without breaking down or being serviced (safety checked yes), there is a market for these appliances.
Often £250.00+ of the boiler cost is put into a reserve/insurance fund for future warranty work, i would like the warranty work to carried out by the manufactures technicians. Not farmed out.
Personally Baxi are my favourite, there so reliable and easy to repair if necessary
Baxi - Main same appliance, different markets & warranties.
Alpha, there reasonable
