Advice for friend please. County court DCB Legal for 2016 ticket

Options
Morning all.  Just trying to help a friend.  They got the following (see image) for a parking ticket in 2016. The person had paid to park, but returned late. Is it best they just pay it as it has gone too far, or is there other options please?  Many thanks.

All explained in the newbies.  Advise you friend to read them.

Also suggest they read this and complain to their MP.

Ignoring that claim form pack was extremely foolish , too late to do anything about it , so they should pay it , in full , asap , otherwise the CCJ will trash their credit rating 30 days after that issue date , so early in October , so less than 2 weeks to get it done or trash their credit rating for 6 long years

It's gone too far and cannot be retrieved , only settled

Why did they ignore a claim form? So frustrating!  Easy to defend but too late now and they MUST PAY IN FULL TO AVOID A CCJ FOR 6 YEARS.

In full.  Not instalments or the CCJ remains.

Tell them never to let any PCN go this far and it would have been appealable at the time of the PCN or the retailer/landowner could have cancelled it in days.

Next year, a proper appeals service is coming in to replace the self-serving and far from independent POPLA and the IAS and finally, this rogue industry will be regulated by Government.

Have you told your friend about the DVLA group action on the Data Abuse case thread? No win no fee claim against the DVLA by Keller Lenkner.  They are representing hundreds of consumer registered keepers in a test case against the DVLA to seek compensation.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
