Strange damp patches on walls

    Any trapped moisture would have gone by now.  It probably is just condensation, I'm guessing it's a small room with no ventilation.

    You could tape a foil square over the offending area.  If the moisture is on the front of the square in the morning, it's condensation.

    The previous suggestion of turning the bed around would also work.
  • Thanks. I think it is condensation. It’s not a very small room but doors are often closed to stop the dog getting in. The bed can’t go anywhere else unfortunately, window one side and built in wardrobes on the other. The bed is pulled out from the wall.

    Sleep the other way around in the bed with your feet towards the wall?

    Since sleeping in a small room with the door shut is 'asking for trouble' could something like a stair gate stop fido from getting upstairs?  Or even use a dog cage.
