2 tickets from parking eye

ticket 1 was obtained march 2021 and i ignored all letters which now after reading up on here i shouldn't of done but we are here now.
so for this one i have received a judgment for claimant (in default) form from county court business centre asking for £207.

ticket 2 i cant even remember having but was obtained 2019.
i have contacted land owner where i got both tickets and he said no problem ill get these cancelled for you and since then i have received a without prejudice (save as costs) form reducing this ticket from £185 to £70 if paid within 14 days.

basically what should i do for both of them incase the land owner cant or doesn't cancel them both?

thanks in advance

    Do you have ?

A court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton ? If yes , what is the issue date ?

Or a CCJ in default due to ignoring letters ? If yes , pay it within the 30 days timescale , in full !

Or for the second one , a debt collector letter ? , If yes , who sent it ?

with the default CCJ , pay the claimant within 30 days of the judgment date, so as soon as possible, in full, they should notify the court that its been paid, but try and get a receipt, just in case

you wont get a set aside if you ignored the CCBC letters, which caused the default CCJ to happen, there is no defence to ignoring official court letters

show us a redacted picture of the WP letter

    I do not understand.

Are you saying you have a County Court Claim Form with an Issued Date of 23rd August 2021 and a Judgment has been issued?

That can only happen if you failed to file an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner.

If that's the case then as Redx says, you need to pay ParkingEye the amount due within the timescale allowed to avoid a credit trashing Judgment remaining on file for the next six years.

By ignoring everything, you have no hope of getting this Judgment set aside. Not worth even trying.

It states on the bottom of the ccj form that if I pay within one month I can ask the court to cancel the entry on the register and there is no fee to do this.

thats correct i didn't file acknowledgment of service in time.
the claim form was dated 23/08/21 which i ignored and the ccj came through on 21/09/21

It will happen once you have made the payment to ParkingEye and sent a copy of the receipt to the CCBC before the deadline.

contact PE and find out if there is only one claim , or another one in the offing

if they are willing to settle for £70 to expunge the one CCJ and nothing else is in the pipeline , you got away with m*rder , lol  :) ( so pay it, in full , to stop it trashing your credit rating )

As I read it there are possibly two claims.  You need to check and see if P/Eye will agree to settle for less and if the second one is at claim stage yet.

    Email:

    enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk

and tell them you have complained to their client who agreed to cancel BOTH PCNs but you have only had one settlement offer and it's unclear if ParkingEye have, or were planning to, file two separate claims.

You are aware of one judgment in default and realise you will have to reach settlement for that but why didn't they advance both PCNs as a single claim?  Given they have an in house solicitor they will have heard of the doctrine of cause of action estoppel, and san't split similar fact matters across two claims.

Ask them what stage the one they sent the settlement offer for, is at, and would they accept the £85 to clear both, given how unhappy their client is with what ParkingEye are doing to their patrons, and given that this should have been one claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
