Structural Survey on Huf / Baufritz Haus?

We've had an offer accepted on a Baufritz house and want to get a structural survey done before completing (for our own peace of mind, not for mortgage purposes).

Baufritz are similar to Huf Haus - a very non-traditional/specialised type of construction.

I have Googled extensively but not turned up any clues...  :-(

Any recommendations for Surveyors for this type of specialised house please?  The house is in Sussex.

  • Are there other similar houses in the area? If so, search the council's planning applications to see if any of them have had significant work done - look up the drawings and see who prepared the drawings for the works which is usually noted on the plans ... in all likelihood someone in the surveyor/planning/architectural line of work and a potential contact to ask who knows something about this type of building.

AFAIK, the Huf houses have pretty stringent build specs, so I'd be surprised it they'd fail a survey.
(Other than relating to the mainly glass aspect of the builds.)
