Looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend, weather forecast looking miserable but promised to do something fun. Nothing to expensive as going on holiday in october half term so trying not to spend much before this

John Ryland library - it looks like hogwarts in there. Free to get in.
Imperial War Museum, has a poppy art work, free to get in.0 -
If you're into art, the gallery ner St Peters Square is good and free. Not sure if Grayson Perry's show is still on. There's also the Whitworth Gallery by the university.
