NCP PCN - LEASE CAR

Hi guys,
I was hoping you could help me with a charge received by NCP.
To cut it short, this is my error, I was going to pay for the parking after the stay by using the "Pay later" NCP offers though I sadly forgot.
I was panicked when I received the charge today and responded to them before reading the helpful posts on here sadly. I accepted responsibility and said it was my error but I had to leave early due to an emergency and because of this forgot to pay for the parking within the time period. I asked they consider this and allow me to pay what I should have done initially.
Please see the below information:
DATE OF INCIDENT: 28/08/21
DATE OF SENDING THIS NOTICE: 16/09/21
PAY BY DATE: 14/10/21
Only other relevant thing I can think of is we received the PCN through our Lease holder as the car is a lease. Though to confirm, when I appealed I did give my name and address, so I think I have snookered myself here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Marco

I answered you in your other thread , so this is a duplicate , so should be ignored 🙃🙃🙃1

Oh no I thought I put this in the right place! Haha.
Please can you direct me to the Lease section this should go to?0 -
This would've been so easy to beat if only you hadn't panicked.
Almost every single parking company can be easily beaten when a leased or hired car is involved and the driver's identity is not divulged.2 -
Hi Keith,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I know, I'm kicking myself as we speak. Is there anything that can be done?
The letter is dated as 16/09 but the incident was on 28/08. Does it factor into it that they sent it after 14 days?
We also didn't receive it until today as it was sent on via our lease company.0 -
Irrelevant if you admitted to driving !! 😭😭😭1
-
As Redx says.
It is also irrelevant because they are allowed extra time to get your name and address from the lessor.2 -
As explained in POFA as I said in your duplicate thread , and the bottom of the first post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements , in the various advice posts by member Edna basher. 😁😁😁😆
I did not ask you to open a second discussion thread , just to read the newbies FAQ sticky thread1 -
Haha thank you Redx
Thanks to both of you for taking a look at this, I will be kicking myself all week because of this!1
