NCP PCN CHARGE

Hi guys,
I was hoping you could help me with a charge received by NCP.
To cut it short, this is my error, I was going to pay for the parking after the stay by using the "Pay later" NCP offers though I sadly forgot.
I was panicked when I received the charge today and responded to them before reading the helpful posts on here sadly. I accepted responsibility and said it was my error but I had to leave early due to an emergency and because of this forgot to pay for the parking within the time period. I asked they consider this and allow me to pay what I should have done initially.
Please see the below information:
DATE OF INCIDENT: 28/08/21
DATE OF SENDING THIS NOTICE: 16/09/21
PAY BY DATE: 14/10/21
Only other relevant thing I can think of is we received the PCN through our Lease holder as the car is a lease. Though to confirm, when I appealed I did give my name and address, so I think I have snookered myself here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Marco

Lease holder ones have a different timeline , so see the relevant section in POFA
If NCP complied with POFA then as hirer keeper you are liable
An admitted driver has liability in every case , if followed and proven
Did you admit to being the driver ? If yes , POFA won't help you , so you appear to have thrown away your best appeal point
The bottom of the first post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements helps hirers , lessees and company vehicles cases , a lot of advice by Edna basher1 -
Sadly I did, I will post something there too, thanks for your help1

You can't and should not post on the NEWBIES thread. If is closed anyway, to stop people doing that.
You have binned your 100% slam dunk winning position as hirer.
It would have been a cinch to win at POPLA and now you are better paying this, because if you appealed as driver and admitted not paying, you have no defence now, can't win at POPLA and I hate to say it but you might be best paying at the discount and learning from your error (i mean your error in appealing without coming here first, sadly).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
