Policy Expert car insurance

I bought a car insurance policy September 2020. I paid in full for the year. After receiving the renewal quote I called to discuss as I was forced out of work and currently am unable to work due to a disability and that meant too that my mileage had significantly reduced. The customer service person told me they wouldn't be able to cover me because I was unemployed!!! Then that my cover would cease at midnight 10 days early! I said that was blatant discrimination which led to the policy continuing a week so 3 days early. Still offended I found and purchased a new policy (£120 cheaper I might add) then this morning I get an email confirming my renewal with them! I gave no permission to.keep my details and yet they have taken £427.44 from my account!!!! Currently had to ask many times for my proof of NCD which has been sent multiple times each with incorrect information on the 15th attempt they got it right 👏 was told refund would be in my account today as being put through as a same day payment and surprise... nope! All I can say at this point is their name Policy Expert is exceptionally ironic. AVOID AVOID AVOID discrimination, error after error, rude staff who talk over you and in my opinion until the money is returned it has been stolen as on multiple occasions I said I was NOT renewing and I did not authorise a payment. Appalling overall. Update: was phoned following this review and apologised to, offered £50 as an apology. Then asked to take this review down... I agreed only to edit it as the facts remain. Have now had the money taken without my permission returned but not the apology amount.
