NCP ticketless fine!

Hi,

I have read old posts and I have think I understand what I need to do but I just want to double check.

I parked for 48 hours at a NCP ticketless car park.. I left yesterday morning and had 24 hours to pay. I forgot to pay within 24 hours (only by 20 mins!)

It was my other half driving and my other half’s car.. I am insured. 

We are assuming he will receive NTK soon, do we need to wait to receive this before we do anything?

Can he just assume he will receive a NTK and email them with the template on thread? Also if NTK isn’t received within 14 days, what happens?

1. It is not a fine, please read the newbies.  Have you complained to your MP?  Assume nothing,

Yes , there may be an NTK PCN arriving in the post to the keeper , or the payment could be sufficient , even if slightly late

If an NTK PCN arrives , use the blue text template , adding a note that the ticket was paid and add proof of payment , citing frustration of contract due to technical difficulties , no inferring who was driving , at all. An occupant of the vehicle paid in full , as soon as they were able

POFA isn't mandatory , but a driver is ALWAYS liable , regardless ( but maybe not a keeper )
