Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok!
I recently moved house, officially moved in 18th September.
I was with Bulb at my old address and I stayed with them at my new address.
I gave my final meter reading, electricity only, and in 10 days the meter reading shot up over 6000!
We hadn't used that much electricity over them days, as you can see from the picture attached, over past couple months it has increased by a few hundred.
I emailed Bulb customer services and got a reply back, again, see attached picture.
those 10 days just don't seem to make sense to me!
Any help would be much appreciated.

I realise that the readings are estimates, the 2nd reading for September is lower than the previous estimated. But, even still, 6000 difference seems high.0

So, the customer readings are your correct readings of your actual usage this month?
I don't feel it's unreasonable to assume that you have been under estimated for quite a long time, when was the last time before April that you gave an accurate reading?1 -
You haven't given them a real reading for some time by the look of it.1

Think you have given the wrong reading. You have an Economy 7 meter that has 3 reads, day, night & total. Think you have given the total reading. Possibly final read should be 214760
-
When did you last give Bulb an actual reading - what was it ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1

Welcome to the forum.A couple of points don't seem quite right.
- You can't just stay with Bulb when you move house. You have to register with the existing supplier of the new property. Only then can you switch the new property to Bulb.
- Presumably you were on a standard credit tariff rather than PAYG, which usually operates by topping up a key or card?

Neither me or my partner worked from home, I think I may have just given the total reading instead of individual reading like someone else said.
It was always on PAYG tarriff.0
