Credit card before moving home

Hello,
My house is under offer at the moment, working through the legal stuff now. I would like to apply for a 0% credit card to help make some purchases for the next house I am moving to (Worth noting I won't have a mortgage on the new place I am just selling my existing house and clearing the mortgage with the house sale). Is it possible to apply for a credit card, knowing that I will be moving shortly, I don't want it to go against me.
Thanks so much for your help in advance.

There should be no issue with this. The usual advice is not to apply for any credit in the run-up to a house purchase, as there's a chance it could affect your mortgage application. But if there's no mortgage to worry about then there's no problem.
