Best Laptop Under £500 ??

It's a minefield I know but I am looking for a new ( or refurbished ) laptop.
Requirements are.
Under £500 ( as far under as possible )
16 inch screen
Battery life not really important as mainly used at home
Windows 10 & available to upgrade to Win 11
SSD
Full size traditional keyboard
Wi-Fi required
Mainly for internet / email / watching videos etc
Not used for gaming
Not touch screen
DVD player required
Not bothered where I buy it from.

Any recommendations ??

Indeed,...my son bought one of these a few weeks ago, £13.49 inc del. I’m not a massive fan of Fleabay’s  cheapo techie stuff tbh, but they offered very swift delivery. It was delivered swiftly but it didn’t work when  first plugged it into the laptop,...completely dead!  

However, I noticed the whole internal cd drive chassis seemed to be sitting proud of the outer case by a few mm’s. I gave it a good squeeze and the whole drive chassis slid backwards about 5mm and nestled into place inside the casing. It obviously hadn’t been pushed fully home during assembly.

Worked an absolute treat after that ;...the usb lead is only about 12cm long but fine if you have a flat surface adjacent to the laptop.

Only used it for ‘reading’ though,...scared to try ‘burning’  in case we go up in flames. 😁
