I think I prefer the Octopus eating Bulb scenario. Becoming a similar size to the former Big-6 companies but with superior management, innovation and technology, they might shake the old cartel out of their complacency.Well, I can dream...0

Just out of interest does anyone know how many customers they have combined? And how does this compare with Scottish Power (I think they're the smallest of the big suppliers).0

Just under 4 million, which you could have ascertained by reading the articles.

I had heard on the radio that the government have "gone cold on the idea of nationalisation" and would prefer to just watch how the situation develops.

I hadn't realised before looking at the graphs that Bulb apparently have no fixed tariffs at all. Given this, if they do go out of business then that would seem to be something caused by the price cap?The_Green_Hornet said:Details on how many customers each major supplier has can be found in the charts @ https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/energy-data-and-research/data-portal/all-available-charts4
