Inherited a Solar panel - advice needed on FIT (Feed in tarrif) registration.

Hi all,
We recently brought a house that came with solar panels. Does anybody have any general advice on the best way to change the registration for the feed-in-tarrif (FIT) scheme to my name/ bank details?
There are several energy companies that payout on the FIT sceme, does anybody recommend any company in particular? (I'm assuming the big companies only, considering recent events).
The previous house owner was being paid by Scottish Power, so I've filled in and emailed their forms but Scottish Power have not yet responded. Any idea of a typical response time?
In terms of documentation, we have 1) Scan of the original installation certificate 2) Scan of the receipt for the previous house owners 3) A letter from the solicitors proving we now own the house.
Thanks.

Transferring a FIT from one owener to another is a routine process.Do you know which company it is currently registered with? The simplest approach will be to contact them with your details and proof of ownership, and they will transfer it into your name. For example, here are the instructions from E.ON. Other suppliers will have their own forms but will ask for the same information.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. PS most questions relating to solar power are best asked on the "Green and Ethical" forum:

OP - your solicitor should have insisted that the seller left you with this form - completed and ready for signature.1

Hi all, thanks for the replies.
The FIT was originally registered with Scottish Power so it's them I've sent the details to. I was just that I've not heard anything back yet so I thought I'd ask if anybody else has had experience of doing something similar.
I guess it's the waiting game
