Solicitors requesting utility bills for house purchase but….

We were previously renting and had the agreement with our landlords that we could remain in the rental property until the house sold. We were then given little notice to move out and therefore have moved back with parents.
We are in the process of buying a new build property. The solicitors have requested utility bills for both my husband and I. However we have no utility bill with our current address on (our parents house.)
All our bills have our old address on. We no longer pay any utilities as we are temporarily living with parents.
Can any one suggest what we do? I have emailed the solicitors but wondering if any has any suggestions. Thank you.

What have they requested them for?
Proof of ID, address?
What else will they accept?0 -
Do you have a driving licence with your current address on?0

I didn't think solicitors accepted those as proof of address.House_owner said:Do you have a driving licence with your current address on?

They might. They might not. There are no standard rules, which is why the OP needs to find out what their solicitors have as the next options on their list.kcon123 said:

Some do. Mine had it on a long list of acceptable documents for proof of address.kcon123 said:
