What I finished up with then was an ieGeek Outdoor Security Camera Wireless 4dBi WiFi Antenna CCTV Camera,1080P Surveillance IP Camera,2-Way Audio,Motion Detection and Siren,25m Night Vision,IP66 Waterproof,Support PC/App/ONVIF - purchased on Amazon for £39.99. It's mains power and instead of going IP I've wired it to a passthrough and connected directly to my network. Using Tinycam Pro I can also monitor it from my TV.So far the results are very encouraging with good number plate recognition, even at night but I plan to install an IR floodlight which will improve that by a long shot.1
