    Further to my previous post.

As a result of the following communication, I am not setting up any direct debit until my energy supplier, Octopus, credits my account with a balance transfer from Avro.

Just to be clear though, that will not include your balance from Green, just whatever you may be owed from payments made to Avro...

Thank you BWT I am aware of that. I did not want to bog down my post with too much detail. But since you mention it, I have a report from Green administrator stating that they will only transfer my credit balance to Shell.

Shell now acknowledge that Octopus is my SoLR and can only refund me directly with my Green credit balance once it is received from them.

Octopus are still waiting for my credit balance transfer from Avro.
That is why I am not paying another penny until the above is sorted.

I suspect that Energy companies sucked up as many prepayment direct debits from new accounts and continued to take direct debit payments from existing customers whilst knowing that they were about to go bust. Similarly, administrators are sitting on customer's money for as long as possible before transferring it to the new SoLR.

I also think that Ofgem will be investigated for their incompetence and mishandling of the energy supply crises situation.
