Avro Energy Supply and Feed In Tariff (FIT) scheme
Options
Hi
This is my first post on this Forum and like many others I am seeking advice about my accounts with Avro.
I understand the process on how Avro Energy customers will be moved to a new supplier and receive any credit due.
My query is about the FIT payments I currently receive from Avro based on energy generated by my solar panels. Does anyone know what might happen with this separate issue ?

I've always kept my FIT generation payments separate from my electricity provider but all of the big 6 companies are FIT providers so I suspect it will just be moved over to one of them at the same time. Just make sure you keep a record of the meter reads you've been paid for but unlike electric supply the FIT level is fixed annually so it won't matter who is paying it although you may have a delay in next payment.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1

If the new supplier appointed is a FIT Licensee then they can take on the payments. If they are not you'll need to approach another FIT Licensee. Avro will advise Ofgem the last FIT read you were paid to so that don't miss out on any payments.2
