Hello!
I am currently with Igloo after switching in June with MSE Credit club. Whilst switching i had £25 cash back & £47 reward from Igloo included in the switch. I was concerned that my payments had increased twice already ( although Martin was saying the tariffs were still under what most companies were charging, so it wasnt all bad) so i thought i would look at switching once i received but these payments. I finally got my igloo reward added to my account last week & was looking for a good deal.. very thin on the ground.. but found one with BG which was close to the current increase with Igloo. I only switched yesterday! So i am concerned at the rumours surrounding Igloo today... not that i will lose supply.. its more that the switch is cancelled and probably i will get a higher rate than what i will be switching to... So i am asking if anyone knows should igloo collapse... will this switch continue as normal? Secondly I currently have £130 credit with them... should i cancel my direct debit? my bills are usually £52 or less each month, so the credit more than covers the bill due beginning of October. In my head it makes sense as there will be less to return, once a switch..or collapse happens... and i guess i feel i haven't 'lost' my money for a long period of time, which i understand could happen.
Thank you in advance for any help
