Does it matter which supplier installs the smart meter?

So all newly installed smart meters should be SMETS2 now, are the IHD's unbranded or do the providers stick their disgusting logo on them? 
4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

    I have had two IHDs both with the manufacturers name on them; ie, Chameleon.

    Which energy provider were you with at that time?

    Octopus and I still am. Branded IHDs were very much a SMETS1 thing as each supplier chose its own meters etc.
