Why does EDF not allow DD changes without calling?
I actually want to increase my payments so that I not caught out by increased spending during winter.
Yet only way I can do this is call. Thing is the lines are slammed right now and means waiting ages on hold!
It seems EDF want us to rack up a debt! They are quite happy to increase if they think I am paying too little, but I want to be in control rather than EDF.

Why not just put the extra you wish to pay aside in a savings account each month?
