I usually sell at a toy convention for one weekend every year. I've only had to pay for insurance once and that was to the venue.
Neither the organisers not the venue are offering any cover to stallholders this year and haven't been able to advise where we can get it.

I have got a quote but it'd be about 30% of the turnover of the stall!

Does anyone know of any short term event insurance I can try?

Thanks

How do you cover your liability for the rest of the year as presumably you are selling in the other 51 weeks?

Cannot recommend anyone in particular but make sure you know who you are buying from... there have been a few recent posts about a membership scheme that includes free PL cover however the company is Hong Kong based and it may come as no surprise that responses to claims are lacking.
  • I only sell for that one weekend when I'm actually at the event.
I think I've found a better priced one.
