I've managed to talk him into giving it until July..... Tenancy is due for renewal in August
    • The gives me and the girls time to move down and get settled - he's finding it difficult being alone so hopefully a bit of normality will help.
    • The role he is in was newly created especially for him, he hasn't given it long enough to get out the teething trouble - He said he enjoys the work but is struggling with new management. This seems to be a communication between him/the business owner which we can take about
    • He's agreed to go back on his medication - Whether he does or not is something else
This is something I always struggle with. I often work under different project leads who have strong personalities and there are always teething problems to begin with. Takes time to build up a good (or at least tolerable) working relationship. It's especially frustrating when I've finally got used to working with someone but there's a resourcing change or a project ends and then I have to start over again.
  • If he's struggling could he stay at home and you could find a job and swap over fir a bit (unless you are already working of course)
  • The thing is this project was with previous friends so I think its more having a friend as a boss" - but these are all things I tried to warn him about

I already do work (And with a good job that thankfully I get to keep when we move) - They've made it so i can WFH. I cannot afford the house without him - As mentioned, we have 2 houses - He is paying 50% for the one he is living in, I am paying 50% as well as 100% for the one I own (Wont rent it, sentimental and not really worth it when you look into to)
