I'm staying with OTM. Moving to another small supplier seems pointless as any of them could go to the wall. I could go to a big supplier knowing they wont fail but their current offers are hundreds of pounds more than my current fixed term deal. I may end up with a big supplier if OTM collapse and they get appointed SOLR anyway but thats a few if's and but's. I'm hoping OTM have the backing to keep going through this winter.

I'm very tempted to contact them in the morning. However, are they happy to accept new customers via live chat without an online application having been completed?alanjones60 said:If you ring them they will put you on it,saw a post on here about it0 -
Just an update. I contacted British Gas via their chatline regarding
Zero Fixed Oct 2022 tariff.
I told the person I communicated with I was unable to apply for the tariff online. He/she asked me for my number and said the sales team would be in touch within 5 days.
I thought I could possibly speed things up by ringing BG. This I did, telling the gentleman I spoke to about the tariff I wanted to apply for. However, he told me he was only able to offer me two tariffs, and not the one I wanted.
I mentioned to him about the callback I've been promised, and he suggested I sit tight, and perhaps the sales team would be able to offer me the fixed tariff I was hoping to successfully apply for.
Oh well, fingers crossed. Failing that, I'll stay with Outfox the Market. Who knows, they haven't gone under yet!1
