Should I switch?

Hi,
I'm currently with EDF and my fixed deal is up at the end of this month.
If I switch to the variable rate my payments go up 30 s month
If I switch to the 2 year fix it is offering me then it goes up £65 a month!
The question is should I switch now or go onto variable rate hoping prices will fall?
None of the comparison sites seem to be working.
