Unoccupied home insurance

My mum is currently in a care home, so family are using her home to stay in when we visit - it is typically occupied for one or two weeks every month, but there is nobody checking the house every week in between visits. I'm struggling to work out what kind of house insurance she needs - is it unoccupied, or holiday home? And can anyone recommend an insurer for this type of occupancy pattern? There are contents in the home, but we only need buildings insurance as there is nothing of value.

I contacted Direct Line who passed me on to a specialist in Empty House insurance broker.
It's Arthur J. Gallagher

We have to visit once every two weeks
I hope that helps.0 -

I used one called Vasa or something like that. It seemed the least onerous in terms of visiting requirements.0
