Why does EoN think I have no gas supply?

I tried to switch to EoN last night (my two year fix with Ovo ends this month, in spectacularly bad timing). I tried to switch to Sainsbury's Energy (which is basically EoN. All was great until I selected my address from their postcode finder, at which point they stated I only had electricity. I most definitely have a gas meter and a gas supply, so why would Sainsbury's/EoN think I don't? I tried on the main EoN website, which yielded the same results...

I've seen a lot of people reporting the same so it would appear to be a problem with their system. Their agents have said they are aware and looking into it.

Thanks, I'm hoping if I phone them with the MPRN I can sort it

I got through on the phone (remarkably quickly!) and they are indeed sorting it. Even better, they are honouring the quote from last night for a tariff that has now been pulled. Very happy to be giving them my custom!

@Mishka195 I've been on the phone twice, waiting 30mins each time but never getting through. Glad to hear they are honouring the quote from last night as i tried to apply 3 times on the website but each time I got an error. Are Sainsburys Energy going to back-bill your tariff or will they put you on the earlier tariff from the time they start supplying your energy?
