Thanks for your words of encouragement! That’s really helpful.
Do you think success is still possible despite my concerns listed above?I’m hopping I may be able to long the process out so that it reaches 6 years (next June), wishful thinking!!0 -
Do you think success is still possible despite my concerns listed above?Prediction in this game is the domain of fools. Litigation is a risk for both parties. Forum-assisted defences have a very high success rate. You just need to get yourself fully briefed and geared up, and with a drive to beat this. The 6 year Limitation Act deadline is in distant sight, but if DCBL/UKPC are determined to litigate, court papers will be served well before next June, and then the LA is out of the window. Don't hang too many hats on that peg! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I won what was probably an unwinnable 4 ticket case, given the evidence photos and the stern Judge involved (who thinks OPS signs are clear). I was prepared to argue it but was prepared to fail, but...
The PPC used DCBLegal in that case too, and they managed to post (snail mail) just 125 pages of witness statement/evidence bundle to the Defendant, yet within 2 minutes of the hearing starting, OPS referred to page 175! Turned out they had sent the court a ton more stuff than they'd shared with the Defendant. A complete no-no in litigation and the Judge was really angry with DCBLegal and dismissed the case, telling the OPS guy to take a message back to their legal firm to clean up their act!
The point is this, because screw ups happen a LOT with roboclaims: Never underestimate the propensity of a PPC or DCBLegal to screw up!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
