Under 16 vaccinations and travel

Hello friends,
As vaccinations are being offered to 12-15 year olds I was wondering about the status of this regards travel. We are off to the Canaries for half term for a break (and with any luck over xmas!). My 15 yo has chosen to take the vaccine but as I'm aware its only one dose.
As this age group will only receive one dose are they classed as 'fully vaccinated' to travel? I appreciate that this falls under Spanish jurisdiction, but if anyone has any knowledge about this I would be very grateful (as I'm sure would be many others with children who fall into this grey area).
thank you
Chris..

The only comment I would add is that Spain double jabs it's teenagers. Therefore whether they would ever accept a single jab as "fully jabbed" is doubtful in my opinion.0

You can travel to Spain without being vaccinated just means your 15yr old will have to do the tests instead.LBM Debt Total : £48,326.50

Ah, that I didnt know. Much appreciated superbigal. Looked on other threads/forums and concerns seem to rise around the testing and timescales before departure (i.e. results coming back late) and wondered if a single jab would circumvent. Thank you for the reply!

Really depends on the country, I know you are talking about Spain, but others may be interested.
some countries will count an infection plus one jab as fully vaccinated. Others will want 2 jabs and some will accept teenagers without any jabs.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
