This is ridiculous snd you will not be paying it.  Appeal saying you were driving and were a Deliveroo driver and the ticketer lurked and watched you deliver food to a resident.  Are PCM content for the site to become a no-go site for Deliveroo?  Because they are fast heading that way, are ruining residents' rights to peaceful enjoyment and to have food delivered.  This PCN is ludicrous and must be cancelled.

This is worse than when PCM were clampers and they are completely ignoring the need for a consideration period - no driver could have had a fair opportunity to read a sign, let alone get a visitor's permit and return with it within 2 minutes flat.  In any case, food delivery is not parking, it's unloading, as shown in the MHCLG's draft code of practice, this is specifically exempt activity.

Attach proof of working for Deliveroo and the delivery/order if you have that data still.  Then, within 21 days of rejection email, repeat the same appeal to the IAS, attaching your evidence of being a Deliveroo driver.

No template appeal in this case.

I think, once you lodge the kangaroo court IAS appeal, PCM will not contest it, to save themselves the £15 that IAS costs them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks not only to you but everyone who's helped so far.

This is exactly what I intend to do, I just wasn't sure how to word the letter beforehand. While deliveroo won't give me customer data, I do have the start time and finish time of the job. That along with the time PCM have told me my car was parked at the address would show that I was indeed making a delivery at that time.

It was obvious from the response of the ticketer that they would be trying their luck, which is why I just got in my car and drove off instead of wasting my time arguing with someone operating in such a shady manner.

Hi, I just got into the exact same situation and been searching for similar incidents ended up here. May I know if the appeal was successful.
my appeal to PPS(private parking solutions) is refused a couple of days ago.

    Try complaining to the landowner.

Otherwise, just keep an eye out for a court claim which is easily defended. Ignore the threatograms from their powerless debt collectors.

This thread is from 2021. Too old!

When you search here, change to sort from NEWEST first. Don't read old threads. You don't need one about the same place. All cases are the same.

Just read the NEWBIES thread and ignore the letters if the farce of 'appeal' fails, which is almost every case.

    NO PAYING!

Start a new thread when you get a LBC, as the NEWBIES FAQS thread post 2, tells you.

It is safe to ignore ALL £170 threatograms (DO NOT POST TO SHOW US THOSE) but obviously tell them if you move house because a LBC or claim form (later on) will need a response. Very easy though.
