Hi,
Need to paint a room, including ceiling which measures 4m high. I always do the house painting and thought about employing a painter due to height of ceiling but thought maybe I should invest in a ladder/scaffold and at least I would have it again and be able to clean out gutters etc
Im struggling to find the right one online. I see combination ones with level area to stand but I need this at least 2m from the ground and struggling to find one. Any of you guys have any recommendations?

I invested in this one - https://www.aluminium-scaffoldtowers.co.uk/product/super-diy-5-3-in-one-with-4-stiffeners-aluminium-scaffold-tower/Looked at the cheaper DIY & mDIY, and found them to be wanting in both stability and ease of assembly. I should have gone for outriggers for a bit more stability, but I've not needed to go to the max height yet.

Thank you, this does look the buzz, though I could prob do with a smaller version than the smallest version. Was a bit more than I was budgeting0

Watch the max "working height" - They assume one has a 2m reach, so the platform level on the 5m tower is only 3m from the ground. If you are thinking of doing gutters on a typical two storey semi, then you'd be better off with a 7m tower plus all the trimmings. Yes, it gets expensive, but it is so much safer than a ladder for a lot of jobs.smcqis said: I could prob do with a smaller version than the smallest version. Was a bit more than I was budgeting

You could hire one, speak to your nearest hire company and tell them your requirements, they should be able to help….0

Agree with above that hiring a tower will be better value. Try and find a local hire company that the trades use - they'll tend to be a fraction of the price of HSS etc and if you hire over a weekend when the trades aren't using them, you'll usually get a good deal.0
