Personal Contract Purchase and insurance

I am about to take a Personal Contract Purchase out on a new car and am currently looking into insurance. Am I right to say that the finance company own the car and I will be the registered keeper? Not sure how to answer the insurance question 'Are you the private owner?'
Anyone else taken one of these out or has a lease/finance deal? It is not a company car and will be used for domestic, social and commuting.
